A small blurb from her blog:
“After going from confident to unsure to amused to frightened about 2012, I finally read something that made sense. In Pam Montgomery’s Plant Spirit Healing she discusses the many indigenous cultures who have found significance around the year 2012. But instead of total Earth destruction, they see it as the beginning of a new Earth. “A paradigm shift” to appropriately quote Pam. A time when humans will be drawn back to the Earth for guidance and learn to love and care for her as our Ancestors did.”
Suicidal Battery!!
I woke up, walked right by him and did a double take——- what kind of message does this battery have to say? He leans against the drawer’s handle, looking so at ease with itself—- but there must be a reason he is standing up there in the first place to jump!
4 drawers high, with hungry dog slippers waiting to gobble him up once he falls……
will he survive? or will his battery acid be leaked out from not being used?
I plan on going on with my day, to see if he will break from his suicidal mood and hop back into my flashlight where he belongs.
Till next time….
hehehe Eric! Where did you find this?! This is how I felt this morning when John was getting up for work and I was getting ready for bed….except this has more Mona Lisa.

Frankenstein purses!!!
I am giving old purses a new life— and purpose! These are creations I have made using pieces of two purses— creating unique looks that you can make too!!! Below are small descriptions of each——
Pic 1: Learned something from Valentino—- your purses have dirty insides!
Pic 2: Steam punk belt/tie thingy from purse— I added gold grommets, and ribbon for closure. It can be worn 100 different ways — the ribbon is very long!
Pic 3: Bustle purse skirt! Back view. Made from handle of a purse— which makes the yoke or waistband. Had to hammer the large gold grommets to make it fit around a body! Please note the green satin material— it is an ombre— so the coloring changes as you twirl!
Pic 4: side view of bustle skirt
Pic 5: Made with part of a purse, black tassel fringe, a button I cut the shank off to make it flat, white, brown/orange, blue feathers, anddddd glow in the dark green paint around the button! I got carried away with this one.
Pic 6: Used the flap from the purse I used for the rest of these designs— made it into my version of a fanny pack. I cut a hole in the top of the purse, added the pocket from Valentino’s “dirty purse” (the pocket was clean!) and added ribbons to tie it around wherever/however the heck you’d like.
Look for these one of a kind designs in my etsy shop—- should be up in a few days!

Well…..still working on my profile, adding merch. etc etc….but I can proudly say that in under a week (or so) I will be: joolienn I already am and was this before, but once you declare something on your blog it makes it quite official.
I think I had a terrible stomach bug, or disease, or was food poisoned! It started Saturday night after working at the GD —in 90 degree weather without air conditioning! (and already feverish) I had plans to attend Sinomatic with a friend Ren, but wound up cancelling and sleeping from 10 PM - 12 the next day. My roommate Lia and I had plans for Indian food and a movie (Julie and Julia- a must see by the way!!) and when we got home from the evenings activities, I couldn’t sleep! I woke up at 1 am with cold sweats, a minus fever (97.2 degree temp) and was shivering. I laid out on the couch, wound up calling out of work, and had fun “bathroom bonding” time from 10am -2pm. Feeling better now, I wonder- was it a flu? food poisoning? random disease? Who knows!!! Sigh—- feeling good is not to be taken for granted any time soon!
(Random tangent— I also miss my travelling other half a lot…but it has been over a week since her departure….and like 3 weeks left? I hope to have my life sorted, company started and ready for adventures when she returns to Boston!!!)
