i am joolienn

I’m so excited for the rest of 2012! The year started pretty rough for me- it was like a little reminder to be strong through adversity, to think positively despite all the negativity, and to continue kicking ass, (when needed). :)

 It’s now March—-And my plate has never been so full (and happy!) I’m currently designing a small collection that I will present at “Beyond the Pattern” - the FIRST wearable art fashion show for Somerville Open Studios 2012 (May 6th- more info to come). And—- I will also be participating in the daytime Open Studios by showcasing my art— not just my clothing and accessories, but my other artistic endeavors as well! As well as my continuous designing for my online shop/local market/events, organizing/leading a theme camp for Firefly, annnnd- will be planning my first ever Figment project/interactive art— which is in Boston June 2 & 3. 

This picture here is my newest design— or rather, redesign? I upcycled a cute green tank that would of otherwise gone to the landfill, and gave it a new life!  It’s for sale in my online shop!! www.iamjoolienn.com
